Scott and Angela are blessed by a calling to work for the glory of God in a place where most people have never heard the name of Christ! At the beginning of their marriage and family, Scott and Angela followed the Lord’s leading toward Delhi, India, where they lived and worked for two and half years in a local church and theological education ministry. Because of serious environment-related health issues, their family had to leave India. God sovereignly cared for them and transitioned them to a ministry on the Arabian Peninsula.
Scott and Angela share the heart behind their ministry. “We believe disciples of Christ are made and God’s glory is best displayed through healthy local churches. But how will those churches be planted? But how will those churches be planted? In this part of the world, there are very few resources and opportunities for ministry-minded believers to study God’s Word and be prepared for that disciple-making work.”
On the Arabian Peninsula, they work alongside a local international church in an organization that seeks to equip believers, train leaders, and support church plants in the 10/40 window. Specifically, Scott is the Director of Gulf School of Theology and is facilitating a church-planting network in the region. Additionally, he studies through the Southern Baptist Theological Seminary in a doctoral program. Angela seeks to be a helper to Scott and to maintain an open and hospitable home to support the ministry while homeschooling Judson and Emersyn.
