We believe the Bible is the inspired and only infallible and authoritative Word of God (II Timothy 3:16; II Peter 1:19-21).
We believe in one Triune God who exists in the persons of the Father, Son and Holy Spirit (I John 5:7; II Corinthians 13:14; Matthew 28:18-29).
We believe Jesus Christ was God in the flesh and born of a virgin, Mary (Matthew 1:18-22; Luke 1:35). We believe that Jesus Christ died for sin, according to the scripture and as a sacrifice for our sins, and that all who believe in Him are justified on the basis of His shed blood (Ephesians 1:7; I Peter 2:24). We believe in the resurrection of His physical body and His ascension into heaven, and in His present life there for us, as High Priest and Advocate (Romans 8:34; I John 2: 1-2).
We believe the Holy Spirit is the third person of the Trinity, who convicts the world of sin, and regenerates, indwells, enlightens and guides believers (John 14: 16-17; John 3: 16-18). We believe the Holy Spirit gives abilities and spiritual gifts to every believer to use in ministry to others (Romans 12:3-8; I Corinthians 12:4-11; Ephesians 4:7-12).
We believe man was created in the image of God, but that in Adam’s sin the race fell, inherited a sinful nature, became separated from God, and that man is totally corrupt, and is subject to the certainty of both physical and spiritual death apart from faith in the Gospel of Jesus Christ (Romans 5:12; Romans 3:22-23).
We believe that salvation is the gift of God brought to man by grace and that all who receive by faith the Lord Jesus Christ are born again of the Holy Spirit, and thereby become children of God (Luke 13:3; John 3:3; John 3:36; John 3:18).
We believe that all the redeemed, once saved, are kept by God’s power and are thus secure in Christ forever (John 10:27-30; Romans 8:1, 38-39).
We believe the church is composed of all true believers; is the body of Christ through regeneration and baptism by the Holy Spirit (Ephesians 1:22-23; 5:24, 25, 30; I Corinthians 12:12). We believe that the establishment and continuance of local churches is clearly taught and defined in the New Testament (Acts 14:27; 20:17; I Timothy 3:1-13). We believe in the autonomy of the local church free of any external authority or control (Acts 13:1-4; Romans 16:1, 4: I Peter 5:1-4).
We recognize water baptism by immersion and the Lord’s Supper as the Scriptural ordinances of obedience for the church in this age (Matthew 28: 19-20; I Corinthians 11:23–26).
We believe in Heaven as the place created by God for the eternal existence of those who have placed their faith in Jesus Christ as their Savior (Revelation 10:10-15).
We believe in Hell as the place where those who have rejected the gospel of Jesus Christ will dwell in eternal punishment (Revelation 21 and 22). We believe that Satan is a person, the author of sin and the cause of the Fall of Man; that he is the open and declared enemy of God and man; and that he shall be eternally punished in the Lake of Fire (Isaiah 14: 12-17; Revelation 20:10).
We believe in the “Blessed Hope” which is the personal and imminent return of the Lord Who will rapture His Church. We believe in a seven year tribulation period, followed by the thousand year reign of Christ in the Messianic Kingdom (I Thessalonians 4:13-18; Titus 2:13; Revelation 3:10; 19:11-16; 20:1-6). We believe in the bodily resurrection of all men, the saved to eternal life, and the unsaved to judgment and everlasting punishment (Matthew 25:46; John 5:28-29; Revelation 20:5-6; 12:13).
