Every Day Generosity

WHY GIVE?

We believe God owns all that we have and as Christians, we are stewards of God’s resources. The Bible reminds us of the importance of giving back to God a portion of what He so generously provides. Giving is an act of worship and we do not give to a church, a program or a building, but to the Lord Jesus Himself. Giving helps make it possible for others to hear the Gospel of the life changing message of Jesus Christ.

DESIGNATING FUNDS

Funds can be designated within NLC as follows:

General Operating Fund
Monies earmarked as tithes go toward the operating expenses at NLC. This would include all ministry operational expenses, ministry programming, salaries and benefits, general administration, utilities, building maintenance, etc. Unless otherwise specified, tithes are designated to this fund.

Building Fund
The Building Fund is used for the capital campaign, currently the construction of the Family Life Center. Monies given to the Building Fund may also be directed toward any other building project.

Missions
Monies earmarked for this fund are typically Faith Promise Offerings. Any donations designated for missions are used to support the individual missionaries and mission organizations supported by NLC.

Other Funds
NLC has a few special funds, one of which, Alms, provides for special ministry needs. Occasionally, special offerings are collected during the Sunday Service.

Check

Checks should be made payable to New Life Church and can be given by envelope during the worship service or mailed to: New Life Church

Cash

Donations can be placed in the offering plates during the worship service. To receive tax credit for a cash gift, the cash should be placed in an envelope with your name and address in order for the financial secretary to properly record the transaction.

Online

Assets
